Meet the Manager
Phil Watson
After loosing my son at 38 weeks I found that there was very little support for dads. I just kept it all in and supported my wife as best I could.
Finding Sands United LLR gave me a space to talk with lots of people available to listen that had gone though something similar so understood more about how I was feeling. I have grown with the team over the years and want to ensure I am there to help others that find us and need us.
Sands United LLR are a family and one I am very proud to be a part of.
Meet the Team
Aaron Curruthers
I’m not really a sociable person and very much been quite withdrawn but being in this group who’s been through similar situations has helped me have a little more confidence in talking about things that I’d just deal with. This club is more than just a group of lads who play football. It’s a network of support on and off the pitch
